כִּי לִי כָל־בְּכֹור בִּבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל בָּאָדָם וּבַבְּהֵמָה בְּיֹום הַכֹּתִי כָל־בְּכֹור בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם הִקְדַּשְׁתִּי אֹתָם לִי׃

כִּי לִי כָל־בְּכֹור בִּבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל בָּאָדָם וּבַבְּהֵמָה בְּיֹום הַכֹּתִי כָל־בְּכֹור בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם הִקְדַּשְׁתִּי אֹתָם לִי׃

Verse 17. And indeed even faith both in its inward and outward form, is from the Lord by love and charity; and this is made especially manifest when man is delivered from the power of evil by the Lord's work of redemption, and is sanctified, by the reception of charity.
