And she said, From the face of Sarai, my mistress, am I fleeing. “He said, Hagar, Sarai’s handmaid,” signifies information; “whence comest thou, and whither goest thou?” signifies respecting the state; “and she said, From the face of Sarai, my mistress, am I fleeing,” signifies response and indignation.
