10138. 'For the first lamb' means this [good and truth] in the internal man. This is clear from the meaning of 'the first lamb', or that which was presented as a burnt offering in the morning, as the good of innocence in the internal man, dealt with above in 10134.

Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service.
