'Teachers' signify doctrine, or the doctrine of truth, and in the highest sense, divine truth.

In Exodus 4:12, teachers signify the Divine Truth called the Holy Spirit, proceeding from the Lord's Divine Human. (Arcana Coelestia 6993)

In Exodus 4:15, they signify the Divine in all things to be done. (Arcana Coelestia 7007)

In Psalms 25:4-5; 27:11; 32:8; 34:11; 119; 143:10, this signifies that the conscious ignorance of people who fear the Lord will be enlightened from Him via the Word, and goods and truths will be given them. (The Inner Meaning of the Prophets and Psalms 275)

In Isaiah 54:13, this signifies that people in the new heaven and the New Church will be in truths from the Lord. (Apocalypse Explained 365[24])
