That this signifies concerning the state of life of the natural from the spiritual, is evident from the signification of “days,” and also of “years,” as being states (see n. 23, 487, 488, 493, 893, 2788, 3462, 3785, 4850); and from the signification of “life,” as being spiritual life (n. 5407, 5890), here spiritual life in the natural, that is, the natural from the spiritual.
