¹⁷ Und nun höre, unser Gott, auf das Gebet deines Knechtes und auf sein Flehen; und um des Herrn willen laß dein Angesicht leuchten über dein verwüstetes Heiligtum!

¹¹ Und er sprach zu mir: Daniel, du vielgeliebter Mann! merke auf die Worte, die ich zu dir rede, und stehe auf deiner Stelle; denn ich bin jetzt zu dir gesandt. Und als er dieses Wort zu mir redete, stand ich zitternd auf.
