134. Once he has been brought into a state of the proprium therefore, a proprium is granted to him, which is described as his rib that was built into a woman, verses 21-23.

5004. 'That he went to the house to do his work' means when engaged in the work of being joined to spiritual good within the natural. This becomes clear from the fact that it is this joining together that 'Joseph' serves to describe in this chapter, and therefore when it says 'he went to the house to do his work' the work involved in that joining together is meant.
