After that, his intelligence is described by 'a garden in Eden, from the east', where 'the trees desirable to the sight' are perceptions of what is true, and 'trees good for food' perceptions of what is good. Love is described by 'the tree of life'', faith by 'the tree of knowledge', verses 8-9.
