En ziet, zes mannen kwamen van den weg der Hoge poort, die gekeerd is naar het noorden, en elkeen met zijn verpletterend wapen in zijn hand; en een man in het midden van hen was met linnen bekleed, en een schrijvers-inktkoker was aan zijn lenden; en zij kwamen in, en stonden bij het koperen altaar.
'To proclaim' signifies exploration from influx of the Lord.

2197. Verse 11 And Abraham and Sarah were old, well advanced in years; 1 it had ceased to be with Sarah in the way it is with women.
'Abraham and Sarah were old' means that the human with the Lord was to be cast off. 'Well advanced in years' means that the time was at hand. 'It had ceased to be with Sarah in the way it is with women' means that the state of rational truth could remain so no longer.
