Jeremiah 31:31

³¹ Behold the days shall come, saith the Lord, and I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Juda:

'Priests' represent the Lord regarding His divine good. When they do not acknowledge the Lord, they do not signify the Lord.
