¹³ And the Lord leaning upon the ladder, saying to him: I am the Lord God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac; the land, wherein thou sleepest, I will give to thee and to thy seed.

Genesis 24:4

⁴ But that thou go to my own country and kindred, and take a wife from thence for my son Isaac.

The church is called 'a woman,' 'a wife,' 'a bride,' 'a virgin,' and 'a daughter,' when it has a celestial and angelic proprium, or selfhood.
