Threshing-floor

  

In Genesis 50:10, 'threshing floor' signifies where the good of truth is because a threshing floor holds grain, and 'grain' signifies the good derived from truth, and the truth of good.

In Matthew 3:12 and Luke 3:17, the threshing floor signifies where a separation between good and evil is affected in reforming the church and regenerating man. (Arcana Coelestia 6537, Apocalypse Explained 374[14])

In Joel 2:24, this signifies the doctrine of the church rescued from evils and falsities. (Apocalypse Explained 543[9])
