¹¹ No foot of man shall pass through it, nor shall foot of beast pass through it, nor shall it be inhabited, forty years.

¹⁶ And they shall drink, and reel to and fro, and be mad, because of the sword that I will send among them.

¹⁶ Go, and speak to Ebedmelech the Ethiopian, saying, Thus says Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel: Behold, I will bring my words on this city for evil, and not for good; and they shall be accomplished before you in that day.

¹⁷ But I will deliver you in that day, says Yahweh; and you shall not be given into the hand of the men of whom you are afraid.
