Kniha (o) rodu Ježíše Krista syna Davidova, syna Abrahamova.
In Genesis 23:6, this signifies one's good pleasure as to regeneration and resurrection. (Arcana Coelestia 2922)
In Psalm 106:5, this signifies the church, and here, a prayer for its welfare. (Arcana Coelestia 1416[5])
In Luke 12:32, this signifies the Lord's concern for the salvation of all. (Apocalypse Explained 696)
In Revelation 17:14, this signifies people who are in the externals of the church. (Apocalypse Revealed 744)
2922. 'In the choicest of our graves' means well-pleasing in regard to regeneration. This is clear from the meaning of 'choosing', 'a choice', and 'choicest' as that which is preferred or well-pleasing, and from the meaning of 'a grave' as resurrection and regeneration, dealt with above in 2916.
