Verses 1-4. Instruction to him who is in the new state of good that he should be prepared to worship the Lord from various affections, natural, spiritual and celestial, in order that the Divine may be manifested in the Human

Verses 5-6. Obedience for this purpose as to the understanding and as to the will with further perception, as to action

Verses 7-21. Worship accordingly in due order and sequence

Verses 22-24. The effect, namely, closer conjunction with the Lord; full reciprocal conjunction on the part of man; the manifestation of the Divine Love in all fullness even to ultimates, and consequently full revelation, producing a state of profound humility.
