9436. 'And went up into the mountain' means being raised up to heaven. This is clear from the meaning of 'going up' as being raised in the direction of more internal levels, dealt with in 3084, 4539, 4969, 5406, 5817, 6007; and from the meaning of 'Mount Sinai' as heaven, where Divine Truth resides in light, dealt with above in 9420, 9427.
