¹ Ne raduj se, Izraele, ne kliči k'o drugi narodi; bludu se oda, jer, ostavivši Boga svoga, zavolio si plaću bludničku po svim gumnima žitnim.

¹⁹ Ugleda smokvu kraj puta i priđe k njoj, ali ne nađe na njoj ništa osim lišća pa joj kaže: "Ne bilo više ploda s tebe dovijeka!" I smokva umah usahnu.

²³ They came to the valley of Eshcol, and cut down from there a branch with one cluster of grapes, and they bore it on a staff between two; [they brought] also of the pomegranates, and of the figs.
