3998. “次日” 表直到永恒. 这从 “次日” 的含义清楚可知. 当圣言中提到 “昨日”, “今日” 或 “次日或明日” 时, 在至高意义上都表示永远; “昨日” 表示自永恒; “今日” 表示永恒; “次日或明日” 表示直到永恒. “今日” 表示永恒 (参看2838节). 事实上, 圣言中所提到的时间均表示状态, 如世纪, 年, 月, 周或星期, 日, 小时或时辰, 如前面频繁所示. 然而, 对主来说并没有状态, 一切事物都是永恒和无限的. 由此明显可知 “次日或明日” 表示直到永恒.
