²² Երբ Իսրայէլը բնակուեց այդ երկրում, Ռուբէնը գնաց ու պառկեց իր հօր հարճի՝ Բալլայի հետ: Իսրայէլն իմացաւ, եւ այդ բանը վատ թուաց նրան: Յակոբն ունէր տասներկու որդի:

⁴ And Samuel did that which the LORD spake, and came to Bethlehem. And the elders of the town trembled at his coming, and said, Comest thou peaceably?
