Arcana Coelestia # 1351
1351. Verse 22. And Serug lived thirty years, and he begot Nahor. 'Serug lived thirty years' means the beginning of the seventh state of this Church, 'Serug' having the same meaning here as previously. 'And he begot Nahor' means a derivative from it, 'Nahor' being a nation so named from him as its forefather which means worship verging on the idolatrous.
