And when the womansaw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat; and she gave also unto her husband with her, and he did eat.
271. 'The days of your life' means the last days of the Church. This is recognized from the fact that the subject here is not one particular person but the Church and its state. The last days of that Church were the time of the Flood.
