'To number bones,' as in Psalm 22:14-18, signifies wanting to dissipate truths by reasonings and false principles. Similarly, 'to number,' as in Isaiah 22:10, signifies falsifying.
A 'number' also signifies the quality of a thing regarding truth. (See Apocalypse Explained 429.)
