2Six days shall work be done; but on the seventh day there shall be to you a holyday, a sabbath of solemn rest to Jehovah: whosoever doeth any work therein shall be put to death.
10670. 'And you shall keep the feast of weeks, of the firstfruits of the wheat harvest' means worship of the Lord and thanksgiving on account of the implanting of truth in good. This is clear from what has been explained and shown in 9294, 9295, where similar words occur.
