26 and they go and serve other gods, and bow themselves to them -- gods which they have not known, and which He hath not apportioned to them;

Verse 26. For they left the true path of life to follow the falses which favoured their evil loves, and worshiped these as true doctrines, though they were opposed to the knowledges of the soul, and were not given by the Word.
