3 But he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, yes, and made his son to pass through the fire, according to the abominations of the nations, whom Yahweh cast out from before the children of Israel.

Verse 3. For the corrupted celestial man is led astray by the falsification of truths in the spiritual church, besides which his truths are consumed by his lusts, as was the case with the posterity of the Most Ancient Church, which was therefore succeeded by a new spiritual church.
