25 But there was none like Ahab, who sold himself to do that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh, whom Jezebel his wife stirred up.

Verse 25. And no state of the church is worse than that in which it is dominated by self-love alienated from good and truth, and practising evil works stimulated by the perverted heresy of faith without charity with which it is permanently conjoined.
