6 And it shall be, that the first-born which she beareth, shall succeed in the name of his brother who is dead, that his name may not become extinct in Israel.

Verse 6. And it shall be that the good and truth that result from this union will derive their quality from the lost good, so that its peculiar characteristics will not be put out from the soul. (Thus natural good will remain in the soul purified and refined by influx from spiritual good.)
