39 Then hear thou in heaven thy dwelling-place, and forgive, and do, and give to every man according to his ways, whose heart thou knowest; (for thou, even thou only, knowest the hearts of all the children of men;)

Verse 39. Then is the operation of the Lord through heaven indeed confirmed, and evil again is remitted, while good is established, each receiving the result of his own life, which is known to the Lord, because Pie alone is acquainted with the inmost desires of each individual.
