33 ภายหลังสิ่งเหล่านี้ เยโรโบอัมมิได้หันกลับจากทางชั่วของพระองค์ แต่จากท่ามกลางประชาชนได้สถาปนาบางคนให้เป็นปุโรหิตประจำปูชนียสถานสูงนั้นอีก ผู้ใดที่พอใจเป็น พระองค์ก็แต่งตั้งเขาให้เป็นปุโรหิตประจำบรรดาปูชนียสถานสูง

Verse 33. But notwithstanding instruction and warning, those who confirm themselves in idolatry are not willing to repent, and are wholly devoted to external affections, putting no restraint upon their evil passions, regarding them as holy, and exalting them above the truths of the Word.
