1 At ang Cananeo, na hari sa Arad, na tumatahan sa Timugan ay nakabalita na ang Israel ay dumating sa daan ng Atarim; at nilabanan niya ang Israel at binihag ang iba sa kanila.

Verse 1. And now therefore it happens that the natural man as to the Rational which is in external worship separated from internal, and in natural intelligence, is affected by the state of the internal man, which is advancing towards the heavenly life; and conflict follows during which the freedom of the spiritual man is interrupted.
