17 At kukuha ka nga ng isang pangbutas at ibutas mo sa kaniyang tainga sa pintuan, at siya'y magiging iyong alipin magpakailan man. At sa iyong aliping babae man ay gayon din ang iyong gagawin.

Verse 17. Then you shall reduce these external truths to obedience, and by obedience conjoin them to truths introductory to higher states, and in this capacity they will always be serviceable to the regenerate life; and the same shall be done with the external affections.
