11 Amazias, porém, não o quis ouvir. De modo que Jeoás, rei de Israel, subiu; e ele e Amazias, rei de Judá, viram-se face a face, em Bete-Semes, que está em Judá.

Verse 11. But still self-love is unwilling to be controlled, and therefore a conflict arises between the understanding and the will, in a state in which the lower passions are excited from self-love.
