47 Når en fremmed eller innerst hos dig kommer til velstand, og en av dine brødre som bor nær ham, blir fattig og må selge sig til den fremmede som har tilhold hos dig, eller til en som stammer fra en fremmed manns slekt,

Verse 47. And besides, if those who do good from natural disposition only, or those who are in truth without good, have abundance of the knowledges of truth and good, while yet the man of the external church is deficient in truths, and thus good and truth are alienated, and evils and falsities have power through such natural dispositions prevailing.
