20 ഒടിവിന്നു പകരം ഒടിവു, കണ്ണിന്നു പകരം കണ്ണു, പല്ലിന്നു പകരം പല്ലു; ഇങ്ങനെ അവന്‍ മറ്റേവന്നു കേടുവരുത്തിയതുപോലെ തന്നേ അവന്നും വരുത്തേണം.

Verse 20. And this is the case also as to the will, as to the understanding, and as to the outward life; for evil invariably brings punishment upon itself, and he who acts from falsity must suffer the consequences of falsity.
