9 അങ്ങനെ യിസ്രായേല്‍രാജാവു യെഹൂദാരാജാവും എദോംരാജാവുമായി പുറപ്പെട്ടു; അവര്‍ ഏഴു ദിവസത്തെ വഴി ചുറ്റിനടന്നശേഷം അവരോടുകൂടെയുള്ള സൈന്യത്തിന്നും മൃഗങ്ങള്‍ക്കും വെള്ളം കിട്ടാതെയായി.
