അവന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെയും അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരോടു അവന് ചെയ്ത നിയമത്തെയും അവന് അവരോടു സാക്ഷീകരിച്ച സാക്ഷ്യങ്ങളെയും നിരസിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു; അവര് വ്യാജത്തെ പിന്തുടര്ന്നു വ്യര്ത്ഥന്മാരായിത്തീര്ന്നു; അവരെപ്പോലെ ആചരിക്കരുതു എന്നു യഹോവ കല്പിച്ചിരുന്ന ചുറ്റുമുള്ള ജാതികളെ തന്നേ അവര് പിന്തുടര്ന്നു.

Verse 15. Consequently he is averse from conjunction with the Lord, which is fully provided for by the work of Redemption, as well as from external worship; and neither does he confirm truth in himself although the means are provided; but on the contrary he loves mere phantasies and pleasures, and receives willingly influx from the hells, according to which he yet knows he ought not to act.
