1 Karaliai 9:9

Verse 9. And to these it will be made manifest that the church destroys itself when it departs from love and charity, — notwithstanding the work of Redemption by the Lord, through which human freedom is preserved,—and thus is captivated by the loves of self and the world internally and externally thereby bringing upon itself its own condemnation.
