1 Karaliai 18:10

Verse 10. And as they know that all life is from the Lord, with whom is the union of good and truth, or of the Divine and the Human, they also discern that self-love only seeks the truth to pervert or destroy it, supposing it can be discovered in merely human states of affection and intelligence; and that, failing in this, they resolutely confirm themselves in the denial and rejection of the truth.
