1 Interea ortum est murmur populi, quasi dolentium pro labore, contra Dominum. Quod cum audisset Dominus, iratus est. Et accensus in eos ignis Domini, devoravit extremam castrorum partem.

Verse 1. And now the man of the Spiritual Church enters into temptation, because evils are predominant, and opposed to the Divine Providence, wherefore the influx of the Divine Life causes aversion on the part of man, evil passions are excited, and the natural man is overcome by lusts.
