17 Vixit autem Amasias, filius Joas, rex Juda, postquam mortuus est Joas filius Joachaz regis Israël, quindecim annis.

Verse 17. And the corrupted state of the celestial church, derived from the corrupted state immediately preceding, continues, after the similar prosperous state of the spiritual church—which is a state of good derived from the truth of a former state—but a very short period.
