9 And the captains over the hundreds did according to all things that Jehoiada the priest commanded: and they took every man his men that were to come in on the sabbath, with them that should go out on the sabbath, and came to Jehoiada the priest.

Verse 9. Accordingly, the subordinate powers of man in fulness are in correspondence with celestial love, from which is the knowledge of the truth, in the celestial state, which correspondence is the co-operation of the external man on the one hand, and the activity of the internal man on the other.
