38 And Aaron the priest went·​·up into▵ Mount Hor by◦ the mouth of Jehovah, and died there, forty years after the sons of Israel were gone·​·out out·​·of the land of Egypt, in the fifth month, on◦ the first◦ of◦ the month.

Verse 38. Through which corrupted natural good is rejected, when the state of temptation is completed, and the man of the church is entirely delivered from the predominance of natural love, those who are in that love having little remains of faith.
