18 And if eating there shall be eaten any of the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace·​·offerings on◦ the third day, it shall not be well·​·pleasing, it shall not be reckoned to him who offers it; it shall be an abomination◦, and the soul that eats of it shall bear her iniquity.

Verse 18. But if, in this process, selfish good is appropriated, it does not give conjunction with the Lord, nor can it be imputed as heavenly good; for it is utterly opposed to such good; and he who is in it must remain in his evil state conjoining it with falsity.
