57 and if it still be seen in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any vessel of leather; it◦ is flourishing; thou shalt burn·​·up that wherein◦ the plague is in the fire.

Verse 57. And if still the impurity and corruption persist, inmostly, interiorly or externally, it is external corruption from internal; and it must be entirely rejected as being the effect of selfish love.
