20 Cursed be he who lies with the wife of his father; for he has uncovered the wing of the garment of his father. And all the people shall say, Amen.

Verse 20. It curses the soul by averting from heaven to conjoin the doctrine of truth with the practice of evil, which is foul profanation (see Arcana Coelestia 6348); for thereby the hereditary evil which exists in the soul is called forth and conjoined to the life; and all the mind shall assent.
