28 And the king said, What hast thou? And she said, This woman said unto▵ me, Give thy son, that we may eat him today, and my son we will eat tomorrow.

Verse 28. And yet Divine Truth investigates the corrupt state of the church, and then it is seen that the corrupted affection of the church desires to appropriate falsities as if they were truths, and this continually.
