7 אֵלֶּה מִשְׁפְּחֹת הָרֻאוּבֵנִי וַיִּהְיוּ פְקֻדֵיהֶם שְׁלֹשָׁה וְאַרְבָּעִים אֶלֶף וּשְׁבַע מֵאֹות וּשְׁלֹשִׁים׃

Verse 7. All these are derivations of faith; and their quality is that arising from a full course of temptations, involving perfection as to truths, and a holy state of good and truth conjoined.
