44 ויאמר המלך אל־שמעי אתה ידעת את כל־הרעה אשר ידע לבבך אשר עשית לדוד אבי והשיב יהוה את־רעתך בראשך׃

Verse 44. Moreover the natural man, thus unregenerate, is conscious of its own evil love, and that it has averted itself from Divine Truth, on which account it is wholly self-condemned.
