26 Διοτι ειδεν ο Κυριος την θλιψιν του Ισραηλ πικραν σφοδρα, οτι δεν ητο ουδεν κεκλεισμενον και ουδεν αφειμενον, ουδε ο βοηθησων τον Ισραηλ.

Verse 26. For Divine Good discerns the spiritual trials of those who are in ignorance of the truth, through falsifications, and evils, and who therefore are neither able to compel themselves, nor to act freely, because the truth fails or is deficient.
