2 Τρια ετη εβασιλευσεν εν Ιερουσαλημ. Και το ονομα της μητρος αυτου ητο Μααχα, θυγατηρ του Αβεσσαλωμ.

Verse 2. And this new state exists in the church during a complete period, its origin, externally, being a state of falsity derived from the evil, which is of worldly love, and is opposed to Divine Truth, although seemingly fair and peaceful.
